Miami HEAT 93 New York Knicks 85
Before the game I was a bit worried and thinking that I DID NOT want us to end up playing the Knicks in th efrist round of the play offs but it turned out well. I was shocked at how PHYSICAL the Knicks were playing! Luckily we had a great start and with 5 minutes left in the first we already had a DOUBLE DIGIT lead. I saw the Arisons at MSG watching us. Very cool. I think they are awesome owners and I got to say hi to Nick!
In the 2nd quarter I wasn’t too happy about our play. We looked careless and Melo was having a huge 1st half. We ended the 2nd quarter up 46 – 44. I was surprised at how many BOOS LeBron got from the New Yorkers. Were they giving away Haterade at MSG? Still looking for a comfortable lead which we finally got at the end of the 3rd quarter. The BIG 3 had an AWESOME game. Always love seeing them being great!
Give credit to the Knicks and especially Melo – they did great against one of the BEST teams in the league but they did get LOTS of fouls. In the 4th it was tight and I was getting REALLY worried but with two minutes left the game was in the bag and MSG was VERY quiet. HEAT win 93 – 85.
After that I was lucky enough to go to a Meet n’ Greet with the HEAT players!!! I got to give more than HALF of the team my business cards! Then it really became the BEST day of my life… I got to see all of the players! I was in HEAVEN! First I get tickets to a HEAT vs. Knicks game at Madison Square Garden, then we WIN, then I went to a Meet and Greet and gave HEAT players my cards (so they can read my blog), then I got to meet and hang out with Coach Spo! BEST DAY EVER!!!!

Frankie – It’s Ray Vargas, we met in the suite yesterday (Sean Houston’s friend). Happy to have met you on the “Best day of your life.” Great analysis of last nights game. I agree that the Heat played carelessly and could have done a better job protecting the ball. Hopefully they tighten things up before entering the playoffs.
